This is a true poem about our bout w/ Ladybugs, aka Asian Beetles- Yes, one did get eaten by Hayden, my 12 year old!
Ladybugs

Ladybugs, ladybugs;
Upon my bedroom wall.
Ladybugs, ladybugs;
You should see them all!
They’ve moved into my closet,
And moved into my drawer.
I wouldn’t be sad at all
If they’d be seen no more!
They think that they can sleep
Upon my comfy pillow;
I’d rather be there sleeping,
With an armadillo!
Sipping my favorite cola,
Much to my disfavor,
I tasted ladybug!
Not my favorite flavor!
Ladybugs, ladybugs;
Upon my bedroom wall.
Asian beetle infestation!
Not ladybugs at all!
