I'm just where I'm suppose to be
God has it all planned out you see.
My Father is guiding me every day
Leading down the righteous pathway.
Certainly I know things aren't perfect
Yet, I know my God my path directs.
My Christian walk is a progression
A beautiful journey not an obsession.
I will face uncomfortable situations.
Yes, I'll even have difficult challenges.
Satan is there to hinder my pilgrimage,
But with Jesus I have the advantage.
In Jesus I have extremely good fortune
Even though I may face dire situations.
I know I cannot on myself be reliant
But with my Jesus I can be confident.
I know my soul has been esteemed,
By Jesus shed blood I am redeemed.
Daily I count my many blessings
Oh yes, I have a promised home waiting.
In Him I can face whatever the strife
God's in charge of the itinerary of my life .
He supplies my strength to see me through
To heaven when I bid this ole earth adieu.
