What is man, compared to the grandeur,
And abounding beauty of the trees?
Compared to the high, lofty mountains,
The soft, gentle, and comforting breeze?
These are all the works of God’s fingers,
The planets, the sun, moon, and the stars;
The birds, in their beautiful array,
Exotic animals near and far?
Yet, God has given man dominion
Over all this beauty, He has made,
And provided for man’s redemption
The life of His only Son, He gave.
We stand in awe of His majesty,
Bowing humbly to Him with our praise.
How Almighty God can care for us?
That thought never ceases to amaze!
