By the pool of Bethesda
There sat a certain brother
Who was impotent for thirty eight years
In this condition he was in tears
Couldn’t move when an angel the pool troubled
For he was always trampled
Under by the feet of men faster
Than he was, so he couldn’t get to the water
Until one day by the pool the Master came by
And when he saw the impotent man lie
He knew he’d been there a long time
Yes, far too long a time
Remember, the Master came for the feast at Jerusalem
For the feast, and not the man’s problem
Yet, the Master said to this soul
Wilt thou be made whole?
Explaining his woes was his response
Complaining to the Son of God’s presence
Hush - Rise
Hush - Take up thy bed
Hush – And walk
Hush, it’s your time
And the man was made whole
Hush, it’s your time
The Master brought great joy to this soul
Know, it’s not in the pool
It’s in the One that bears rule
In the affairs of men
From this story, learn,
It’s not in the pool
