Daylight Serenaded
Coaxing night to set her sail
The stars shine has faded
As darkness lifts her veil.
The sun breaks the morning
Meeting the transparent moon
Skies the birds adorning
For moments they commune.
Bid farewell to yesterday
Forever the past is chased
God's Mercy will display
Dawn has our presence graced.
