On a day so very long ago
The Master told His disciples to…..ask anything -
In the name of Jesus!
You see, the Father’s love…
Comes from heaven above…
It’s an eternal fire that can’t be quenched -
Or extinguished.
And It’s always been His great pleasure to bless His children….
Now today in our modern times
We don’t want to cause anyone to feel….uncomfortable
By the name of Jesus!
The world we can’t offend…
By calling Jesus our own friend…
How the Father’s heart must be breaking –
In Holy sorrow
Cause It’s always been His great pleasure to bless His children….
He gave His Son as a sacrifice
In His great love for us so we could live….everlasting
By the name of Jesus!
Yes, Christ went to the cross…
Willingly to save the lost….
How much He gave for us to be forgiven –
Lord, forgive us again
And it’s always been His great pleasure to bless His children….
