If we could just see beyond today,
to know what tomorrow may hold.
Would the sight laid out before us,
be something we’d want to behold.
Would we see still more suffering,
or joy bringing enormous pleasure.
Whatever tomorrow will likely hold,
getting there, is like a rare treasure.
Would we see the beautiful sunrise,
sneaking down, the mountainside.
Bringing sunshine into a dismal day,
causing the clouds, to silently hide.
Will tomorrow hold new heartaches,
for a precious love one you may lose.
What tomorrow may hold for each,
is up to God, he’s the one to choose.
All our tomorrows, must start today,
so now is the time to start preparing.
For as God sends a new day unto us,
it’s his loving mercy, that he’s sharing.
