I asked God how I’d know,
when I am living in His will,
He said oh, hush my child,
just listen now, and be still.
Listen close and you’ll hear,
all the words I have to say.
My voice you will recognize,
as I speak to you each day.
If you hear a stranger’s voice,
to that one , pay no heed.
It will be the voice of evil,
coming upon you, to mislead.
My voice you’ll surly know,
as I speak unto your heart.
You’ll recognize me at once,
for my peace I will impart.
Do not heed the voice of man,
your soul they’ll destroy.
And take away your faith,
which I’ve instilled with joy.
Listen closely to my words,
and heed only to my voice.
Then you’ll walk in my will,
in my spirit you can rejoice.

Good points brought out here. "My sheep hear my voice." We will recognize the familiar voice of our Lord, if only we stop, be still, and listen....If we keep speeding on ahead, listening to the wind, we will miss the still, small voice...Thanks for sharing...Helen
