It’s a high stake
to sacrifice the only begotten for Love’s sake
Forsaking a high habitation
For a lowly station
God stooped below His deity
To become dirtied
If God could stake all on high
Ought we not surrender all below?
For all that God staked
His only begotten died on a high stake
For love’s sake.
