Psalm 1258

I look to You, O Lord, in these times of uncertainty
You are my guide.
Every fear, concern and worry invading my mind
I bring them before You in prayer.
O how joy fills my life in this time of loss
where darkness tries and wants to settle in
I place all my hope and trust in You
now all fears subside and all worries and concerns fade.
My fears cause me to be indecisive and emotional
leading me to believe I would be all alone and rejected by others.
My fears cause me to focus on those circumstances and not on You.
This realization came through prayer and focusing on You.
Your words spoken to Israel, speak to me and all who love You:
But as for You, Israel my servant, Jacob my chosen one,
descended from my friend, Abraham,
I have called you back from the ends of the earth
so you can serve me. For I have chosen you
and will not throw you away. Donít be afraid for I am with You.
Do not be dismayed for I am your God. (Isaiah 41:8-10)
What am I to fear? Someone being mad or upset
because they disagree? NO!
Just because others reject me doesnít mean You do.
Thank You, Father, for the loss before me,
the things to which I must say bye to.
For through this loss comes a gain.
A gain I was unable to see at first but itís becoming clearer.
I pray, Father, for Your continued guidance,
and the strength and courage to overcome Satanís trickery.
I pray for those who donít believe in You, Father,
that they may find You, and call on Your name,
as they see You uphold all who love You.
For he stands at the right hand of the needy one,
to save his life from those who condemn him. (Psalm 109:31)
No matter what today brings, I know and believe, Father,
even there, Your hand will guide me,
Your right hand will hold me fast (Psalm 139:10)
For You, O Lord, have established Your throne in heaven
and Your kingdom rules over all.
There is but one who is in control,
and that one is You!
Thank You, Father, for all the helpers which brought these words forth.
May they continue to flourish and prosper in all that they do.
May we continue to live by Your will
as You provide our every need.
I ask this in Jesus' name,
Amen
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.

Thank you."I look to You, O Lord, in these times of uncertainty" What a great line and great piece. Praying the psalms usually calms me down. God bless you and keep on writing. Amen.
