Once again this day I pray
To bless my family and friends.
Lighten their load as they walk today
Only send rich blessings for them.
May they rise from their bed of rest
To meet the morn with sheer delight.
May this day be one of the best
Knowing that you are always nearby.
Greet them with the bright morn sun
With sparkling dew upon the grass,
Birds chirping a melodious tune,
And strength to confront a world so crass.
Protect their steps in Life's journey
Guard against their wandering.
May they feel your presence near
And walk boldly in you not in fear.
