LIFE IS SHORT AND LIFE IS LONG

Life is short and life is long,
the sun goes down and the nights carry on.
the seasons change along with time,
first it was yours and now it's mine.
People come and people go,
days of warm sunshine and days of snow.
Baby's laughing sounds of cheers,
old men dying alone with tears.
people singing and people talking,
young men running and old men walking.
Trees are swaying and the breeze is blowing,
alarm clocks ticking and the roosters crowing.
People go to work and people stay home,
Some happily ever after and some all alone.
Meals to the wealthy and crumbs to the poor,
beds made of ivory and beds on the floor.
Life is not right and life is not wrong,
life is short and life is long.
