If it wasn't for the Lord, I would not be where I am today
I give thanks to Jesus everytime I pray.
He says look up in the sky for your redemption is near
I have thanks to Jesus to help me make this clear.
So thank the Lord up above
For the skies are really blue
Thank the Lord up above because he loves you too.
Everynight when I lay down
I grip my pillow tight And he says in my mind
"Don't worry son, everything is going to be alright"
So pray with all your heart and soul
And give your life to him
He says it isn't the end of time
Son, it's about to begin.
So thank the Lord up above
For the skies are really blue
