I watched the evening sun go down over the top of the tallest mountain
As the moon escaped the glistening tree-tops
Beams from his light exploded into a thousand spot lights
Dancing along the hillside
My spirit danced with life
Total creation filled my mind
The wonders of God, my Father,
How he colors my world,
He colors my world with love and laughter
He colors my world with sunshine and lavender
He colors my world with rainbows and dew drops
He colors my world with blue sky’s and lollipops
He colors my world with green grass and daisies
He colors my world with long hot summer days
He colors my world with old man winter and all his ways
He colors my world with spring time and flowers
He colors my world with fall and her long hours
He colors my world with a wonderful mate
He colors my world with ice cream and cake
He colors my world with beautiful people
In my life, happiness rolls
I carry his love wherever I go
His love for me will never grow old
And as you read this poem
You surely must know
That most important of all
He colors my world with
His SON, JESUS CHRIST
He is my greatest prize.
