I have a heart full of anger,
and my eyes are filled with tears,
I wish I could be happy,
but my head is full of fears.
I'm tired of the sadness,
and the anger that fills my veins,
I want it to be lifted from me,
I wish I was free of the sinning stains.
I feel the anger blinding me,
tears run down my cheeks,
I fall to my knees with my arms out,
My God, My Savior is who I seek.
Fill me with your love and joy,
please take the anger from me,
Guide me, direct me, show me the way,
take away the blindness, let me see.
I need you, Father God,
I can't do it with out you,
Because I am nothing,
I need forgiveness, make me new.
Hold me close and show me truth,
and hide me under your wing,
I love you Lord, with all my heart,
You are my Savior and my King.
