Is this the last time that I shall see your face,
So dear to me from my earliest days?
Are these the last words that I will speak with you?
May they bring blessings that stay with you always.
May you know deeply our Father's love for you;
May you know forgiveness for each and every sin;
May you know His peace that nothing can destroy;
May He surround you and strengthen you within.
And may I see you another happy day
When pain and suffering and anguish are no more;
May we together sing praises to our Lord,
Standing strong forever on that distant shore.
