Approaching Armageddon
As trouble with Israel and the seed of Ishmael escalate. The threat of Iran to wipe Israel off the map widens. We have to ask ourselves, are we approaching Armageddon? The prophetic book call the Revelation of Jesus Christ mentions a battle or war that will take place in Chapter sixteen. It reads; and the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river Euphrates; and the waters thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of devils working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and to the whole world, to gather them to the battle of the great day of God Almighty. Behold I come as a thief , blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garment, less he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called Armageddon. Rev. 16:12-16 The sixth bowl is poured out upon the great river Euphrates, the waters was dried up for the purpose of making it easy for the kings of the east to maneuver. These kings of the east has joined forces to challenge the one world leadership of anti-christ. All three members of this unholy trinity are involved, Satan, anti-christ, and the false prophet. The Revelation reveals that there were three unclean spirits working miracles to ensure that the allies of anti-christ will comply. In verse 15 Jesus inserts a word of encouragement to the saints that received salvation during the tribulation. Behold I come, blessed is he that watches and keeps his garment. Jesus is telling them to hold on a little longer, He is coming soon. Verse 16 begins with the phrase; and he gathered them together into a place called Armageddon. The he in this verse is the angel that poured out the sixth bowl. This is the work of God, He is in control. Before any fighting take place the anti-christ convinces the kings of the east to join him and they turn to destroy Israel. At this point the whole Nation of Israel will cry out to God, bringing to pass the word given by Zechariah 12:10-13:1 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications; and they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his first born. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Haddrimmon in the valley of Megiddon {Armageddon}. … In that day there shall be a fountain open to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and uncleanness. God will hear their cry for their Messiah bringing to pass the word of God spoken in Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Jesus will destroy this mass army with the sword of His mouth and save Israel, cast Satan into bottomless pit and the anti-christ and false prophet into the lake of fire. Then set up His millennial kingdom. It all started with Armageddon.
