Hold on Jerusalem

Oh Jerusalem
How I long to be with you
How I long to walk your streets
The echo of my soul reaches out to your terror--
Where upon your streets is the face of darkness
Shall I continue to mourn for thee or
Shall I rejoice in your victory of the souls?

Men have fought over thee
In anguish and pain they have smiled
But have not yet seen the true Jerusalem
The King slowly approaches and the time for
Justice is ever present—the peace treaty streams forward and
The mirror of deceit is yoked upon its death bed!

Oh Jerusalem
How I long to be with you
How I long to walk your streets
Soon your land will be surrounded by armies and
Your victory seems bleak but the approaching
Man on a white horse will look upon thee and
The mirror of deceit will be destroyed

Hold on Jerusalem—hold on
I know that that you have been through much
But your misery is almost complete and
Your victory comes after the darkness

Bless Jerusalem
It is the place of thunder
Justice is ever present
