I saw something, it drew my eye,
sparks of light shooting up to the sky,
it was a sparkly ring...
I picked it up, too small to fit,
into my pocket for just a bit,
such a pretty little thing...
Up ahead I spied another one,
walking then became a run,
what would this one bring?
Shiny and pretty, then I saw more,
lying about in colors galore,
my heart began to sing...
I scooped them up, what a joy they are,
I'll string them on silk, they'll be seen from afar,
I'll look like a queen or king!
Once on a silk string, what did I see?
they all had letters speaking to me,
what joy was held in those rings!
Treasure to hold, sparkling and new,
it spelled out exactly my feelings so true,
they said it all.....how much I LOVE YOU!!
Though you can't see it, I'll always know,
that necklace of joy sets my heart aglow,
in the wonder of loving you!!
