May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4

What is it that you desire the most deep within your heart? What is it that you long to be successful in? The Lord knows our inner heart; the things that make us feel jubilant. He is waiting for you to uncover your heart to ask him in your prayers to open the doors. Habitually we keep those inner feelings to ourselves dreaming about them in secret. We wait for the doors to open and get disheartened when they remain closed, yet we have done nothing to seek guidance from the Lord. Cry unto him he desires nothing more than to give the things of the heart that you are longing for. We are often quick to pray when we are in transgression, but we often neglect to pray when the things of the heart have been filled, or to ask for guidance in the matters of the heart. Has the Lord filled your heart and caused you to be elated? Have you thanked him?

Prayer: Thank you Lord, you are truly awesome, thank you for knowing, even better than I, the things of the heart and for opening the doors allowing me to succeed. I thank you for those desires that I have already concurred and those that are still yet to be. In your precious Son’s name, Amen
