Dear Wise Men,
One thing an honest person learns is that profit is impossible. You can only trade things you do have for things you do not have, but your over all capacity will remain the same. As I always say there is no evolution or self-regulated energy increase. One can trade life for experiences, and experiences for skill and skill for trade, then trade for goods. That is the secret formula to life. All sides of the equation of life must be equal only time will tell. Death is an interesting equal sign.
It is interesting that so many people claim to be wise in this world; even so, wisdom does not lead to honesty or truthfulness. Wisdom sometimes will just make you a good liar. One could say the main danger of humanism is that it ignores the fact that wise people are a major cause of problems in this world. What would health be if wise chemists weren't intentionally putting dangerous additives in our foods? What would the environment be if wise chemists weren't intentionally destroying the world for what they believe to be profit? What would health care be if wise men were not intentionally prescribing unnecessary surgeries or dangerous medicines for profit? Some call it progress but how can we progress if our machines are filled with dangerous compounds just so our “video games” will be faster and more realistic. Should we destroy the real world to play video games? Such a thing cannot be seen as wise.
