THE RAGING STORM

The voice of the thunder
Was loud and clear
As the lightning dances
Upon the night sky
Raging winds roar
As it passes by

The fear I felt
Was beyond belief
When my Master
Lay down below, asleep

In panic I run to Him
Awake ! dear Lord
My chances are slim
Do you not care
That I perish this day

This ship's going down
I have no strength left
What's facing me now is death

My Master arose
And rebuked the storm
Peace be still !
All harm was gone

Why are you so fearful
Is what He did say
Where is your faith
In Me today

There I stood with fear so great
When a question
Ran through my mind that day

What manner of Man is this
In all the alarm
Can calm, The Raging Storm !!

I can really relate to this poem we run a small rescue farm horses,cats,dogs,goats, donkey and one rabbit and we have been through quite a few storms this year but the Lord is always faithful. God Bless keep writing!
