Is it possible to believe that you are helping God out when in fact you are not?
Unity in the name of Christ is the game
The beauty of peace is often the greatest form of deception
True peace only comes through Jesus Christ
There is great emphasis by many on the kingdom for
Social and political transformation but
This has resulted in the neglect of the kingdom as
Spiritual and eschatological (return of the Lord) —
The problem here is that when you only look at the kingdom
As social and political transformation you face
The danger of losing your passion for the return of Jesus
You will discover that the ‘here and now’ perspective will
Be more important than the ‘eschatological perspective’
The balance must be right or you might find yourself
Going down the wrong road
Certain men have crept in unaware
There material is found in Christian bookstores
Christians read but never study the context of what these men are saying
The latest ‘seller’ is the ‘emerging church’
The central message of the Gospel is lost and
Contemplative prayer has found its way into the emerging church
Those who do not agree with the emerging church are considered the enemy
These leaders of the emerging church expect us to bow to them
They claim to represent Jesus—the pope makes the same claim
These emerging leaders are convinced that Jesus will
Not return until the church gets the job done
Is it possible to believe that you are helping God out when in fact you are not?
Many of the emerging leaders have been seduced by power and
It has not been by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We know that the Jews expected a social and a political kingdom
They did not get that—what they did get was the Son of God who went out of His way To show them the reality of the kingdom of God and
To show them that His Kingdom is not of this world (John 8:23; 18:36)
Today many who preach the kingdom message, as found in the ‘emerging church’ and The ‘dominion mandate’ concepts have no passion for Heaven—
They have everything they ever wanted here on planet earth
The road to hell is paced with good intentions!
