Psalm 1247
There is a cycle closing to its end,
and the ending of this cycle brings with it new beginnings.
Love is returning to remind us of who and what we are,
This beginning brings with it hard circumstances, Father,
circumstances which seem insurmountable for so many,
life is becoming harder and harder to cope with,
I am not exempt from this.
All of what I say, I am experiencing,
and You, O Lord, are the only one who I can turn to,
even though I can’t see you, even though I don’t hear You,
I believe and trust in You.
By the faith which Moses held when he fled Egypt
and caused him not to fear Pharoh,
the faith he held in You, the invisible one,
by that same faith, Father,
help me make my leap that will propel me forward.
Many are waiting, and I trust what I’ve been shown.
We’re waiting on the one who takes the leap,
the leap that unites the body wholely.
You’ve shown me making that leap,
The one which I felt fear to do – the fear I feel now.
The rock is solid, able to withstand all attacks,
Hades shall not prevail against it,
It’s waiting, Father,
The opportunity approaches and may it not be missed.
May your purpose be fulfilled despite adversities,
lead us, O Lord, into Your loving salvation,
for this land grows desolate day by day,
and the pressure grows more intense.
Look, Father at where I stand in the status quo,
I stand not in the synagogues in front of a pulpit,
nor do I hold a seat of any kind,
I clean toilets, mop floors, cook food for others,
and do my best to be happy when ridiculed
by those both above and equal to me.
I’m not telling You this so that You can feel sorry for me,
All I ask is that you hear this prayer,
So many are loosing all they’ve ever known,
The faith I seek, may we find it together,
For once I took the leap, many followed,
May we take this leap and come together,
United just like I saw,
And not be caught up in the customs and behaviors of this world.
The transformation I seek, Father,
I seek not for myself, but for those whom you’ve chosen
from the beginning.
Those whom You’ve saved and chose to live a holy life,
not because we deserve it,
but that Your plan from before the world began might be fulfilled,
showing your love and kindness to us through Christ Jesus.
I ask this in Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.

The dream:

I was standing in the desert atop a mountain of sand or a sand dune,

I wasn't alone and I was wearing a robe.

It was brown in color just like all the others.

They were all in robes as well.

Along side this mountain of sand were floating rocks

moving along side of the mountain of sand we were standing on.

They were moving fast and we knew we had to get on them.

The only way on was to jump on.

Men would come forward and contemplate jumping

but all were afraid.

Then they turned to me and looked at me,

I knew I had to step forward and try.

It was a long way down if I missed and fear filled me.

But I just told myself - "I'm gonna do it"

So I took my leap of faith - and to my surprise I made it.

And what was most amazing besides making it was

after I jumped and made it -

all the others followed and none of them fell.

The rock we jumped onto propelled us forward,

Then I woke.

O, Father, do not let me miss this opportunity.

I ask this in Jesus' name,

Amen.
