How is your faith walk?
What is faith? ďFaith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen,Ē (Hebrews 11:1). With a full understanding of faith gives humanity the assurances to ask the Lord anything in prayer, knowing that we will receive an answer.
II Corinthians 5:7, tell us that we are to walk by faith and not by sight. What this verse means is that we are to believe the unbelievable, see the invisible, and receive the impossible. It was Abrahamís faith that caused him to believe God and obey His command to leave his home country and travel to a foreign land not knowing where he was going. Abraham followed God in total faith. It was Abrahamís faith to believe God when he was told that he would have the son of promise in his old age. It was Abrahamís faith that allowed him to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice believing God would provide a ram, which God did. It was faith that caused Joshua and Caleb to bring a more excellent report that the nation of Israelites could conquer the land of the giants.
It is our faith in Jesus Christ and Godís grace we have salvation. Scripture encourages us to have faith the size of a mustard seed, and if we did we could say to sycamore tree to move from this place and be placed elsewhere (in the sea) and the tree would obey. What faith?
