3.He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
Child of God,
you are as a hawthorn tree,
With mint green leaves like battle shields.
In Spring, you wear a coat of snow-white flowers,
In autumn, birds eat berries in your bowers.
You are sturdy, strong and straight,
Gripping soil with powerful roots,
protecting lambs in Winter fields.
You grow taller day by day;
You will never wither away.
