Life in general is a challenge in this day and age. Women of all ages are faced with more decisions today than our great grandmothers ever had to face. Perhaps their physical life was more of a challenge with them, while with us today, it is the physiological & social diversions that set us apart. More & more it is assumed that women have all the freedoms that they have ever wanted. But my oh my, the price tag has been extremely expensive for us all. Young, old, & in-between, womanhood in the 21st century is only for the fit indeed.
While we may have every advantage bestowed upon us in the Western World, the economics of success are still set against us. The unfortunate secretive class system still presents invisible glass ceilings, whether it is directed from the social or economic perspective. The silver spoon system is alive & well in every state of the Union. This can be said to reach global regions around the world as well. Beauty is still the prize of the fortunate & the legacy of beauty & brains has barely survived.
So what is the 'grace' involved in all of this & where is the 'grace' involved in all of this. Simply put, with God only.
The only common ground of grace will be found is in a woman's life devoted to God. This does not mean a sanctimonious or religious life style. This does not mean a devote puritanical life. Simply put, it is the surrender of the soul & heart toward God first most. It is a life style that imparts hope, peace, & love. It is in the mother's tender voice. It is in the daughter's obedient heart. Women of all ages can express the wonders of God. Women of all ages can be gracious to one another in hopes of making the day a little brighter. In hopes of lifting a friend from depression, or a husband from uncertainties. Such grace is like a silver thread in a scarlet shawl. Grace, grace, & more grace ... as the scriptures call for.
If you are challenged in this day & age to defer to the brutal attempts of forcing your womanhood into the social frame of today's loudness, bawdiness, slanderous, pornographic, uninhibited, clamorous, indiscreet, immodest, tyrannical mold ... STOP!
Stop & consider first. Consider why God created you. Think about your heritage, your linage, you legacy. Ponder the quieter points of your life & allow God to ponder with you.
Allow a move of The Holy Spirit to touch your whole being & allow your true divine nature of womanhood to come forth. You will not be disappointed in the long run. In short, you will be changed, & you will not reflect what the world's standards offer women nowadays. But, who's standard do you really want to live by. If you have found your own standards lacking, or the standards that you were raised in lacking ... or for whatever the cause ... you find that this lack bothers you in your inward depth, then you are ready for God to change you.
Do you know that God has already provided everything for you as a woman upon this earth, if only you will remember who God is & who you really are. Take time to pray. Take time to get in touch with your own divine nature with God. It will not happen overnight, but before you know it ... the change you are praying for ... will come about.
Your resolve toward God, the truths that are placed into your heart, the knowledge of Jesus the Christ & the power of The Holy Spirit will begin shining through you life. Grace will become you. You will become grace. It will beam from your eyes, your expression will turn from sour to contentment, & you will be satisfied with who you are.
Grace, grace & more grace!
