You knew that we would run away from You
Still You made us, just the same
You knew that we would turn away from truth
Still You claim us, called by name
We could never earn Your love
Or the promise that You gave
You are faithful, Holy God
Your mercies new with every day
You are gracious, Mighty God
Your precious blood has made a way
Though we were sinners, You sent Your Son
To die for us anyway
You knew that we would turn against You
Still You came here, chose to save
You knew that You’d be crucified for truth
Still You stayed there, ransom paid
We could never earn Your love
Your message we proclaim
You are faithful, Holy God
Your mercies new with every day
You are gracious, Mighty God
Your precious blood has made a way
Though we were sinners, You sent Your Son
To die for us anyway
You healed the broken
The tired and lame
Rescued Your people
And conquered the grave
We trust in Your love
Which does not fade
You are faithful, Holy God
Your mercies new with every day
You are gracious, Mighty God
Your precious blood has made a way
Though we were sinners, You sent Your Son
To die for us anyway

Romans 5:8 – “God demonstrates His own love for us in this; that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Ephesians 1:4-6 – “Before He made the world, God loved us and chose us to be holy and without fault in His eyes. God decided in advance to bring us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. He did this because He wanted to and it makes Him happy. So we praise God for the amazing grace He has poured out on us who belong to His dear Son.”
Lamentations 3:22-25 – “The LORD'S mercies never cease, for His compassion never fails. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.”
