Day after day, Father, as time passes by,
I see different shores from this boat side view,
and my thoughts are filled with thoughts of You.
I struggle here with the feeling of being alone,
As I work with many who are here for themselves,
I give and serve my best thinking of my eternal home.
It’s with this perspective I begin each day,
On my knees many times with tears I pray,
Admitting I’m continuously at a loss for words,
But I’m never without a loss of hope,
Because I know when I’m there on my knees,
And I can’t find the words to say,
You're aware and give me everything I need,
To make it through the toughness of the day,
With your mercy and faithfulness a new seed
Is sown in my heart with faith it blooms
Into an outward expression of joy from strength
Given by You I move forward going the length
Seeing many wondering in amazement,
But this glory, Father, I give it to You,
For with You, I endure all that comes my way,
And I don’t give up within this dismay,
Love finds a way to show its true self.
Thank you, Father,
Thank you for this breath which I breathe in,
I exhale Your name in Your kindness,
I'm made happy.
I pray the whole world comes to know You.
I ask this in Jesus' name,
Amen.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.
1 Corinthians 13:4
Love is patient and kind, it is not jealous, or boastful, or proud, or rude.
Love doesn’t demand its own way and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged.
It is never happy at injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
Love never gives up, never looses faith, is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.
