This is a note to future generations. I write this to you in hopes that you can garner some wisdom from those who have come before you.
We have made great strides in the world, and we have had great failures as well. Learn from our failures and pattern yourselves after our successes, but do not become complacent and content. Broaden your horizons and expand your knowledge. Contentment only breeds laziness. Stay on your guard. Do not let others extort or corrupt your technologies and inventions. There will be people who want to exploit them for personal profit, not for the greater good of the world. This has been your forefather's biggest downfall. Our advancements and successes in our cultures have reversed and become our biggest enemy and our weakness.
Continue to search for cures for the sick, but do not let it become bogged down in politics. Continue the right to bear arms. Everyone has a right to defend themselves. Use common sense when it comes to free speech. Amend it to protect the innocent and use common sense to not allow what is vulgar and immoral. Take the fight to your enemies before they can bring it to you. When you have information about specific threats against your countries, act on it, immediately. Avoid wars when possible, but do not negotiate with enemies who wish you harm. Either they deal respectfully, honorably, and truthful with your countries, or you deal forcefully with them where they are found. Rid this world of it's evil. Follow God and He will guide you in all your ways. Do not let others lead you astray. Lead your enemies to Christ if you can.
Care for our planet, tend it's ground, and wisely use it's resources. Use them wisely and they will last. Squander them and you will be at the mercy of others. Help those in need and need those who can help you. Do not be too proud to realize that you do not know it all. Earth's most valuable asset is it's people. Always seek counsel from those who are wise and impart wisdom to those who are not.
If you heed my warnings and take this advice, your generations will prosper. If you do not heed these words, you will very likely fall prey to the pitfalls of my generation, and those before. Greed, pride, lust, ungodliness, self - righteousness, and social diseases are just a few that can inflict harm to you if you are not careful with the choices you make. These things have brought our world down to a new low. The future sometimes looks bleak, but my hope is in Christ.
I look forward to observing what the future generations can do with what they are dealt in life. Our hope is also in you. Seek God in all you do, keep the faith, learn from us, and you will surely prosper. Good luck and may God always be with each and every one of you.
