You could have left me where You found me
In a pit I dug with my own hands
But You reached down and pulled me out
A broken child with many demands
You lifted me in Your arms
Held me close to Your heart
Oh, my Jesus, my Savior
Lord, I love You forever
And always I’ll praise You
Oh, my Jesus, my Anchor
Lord, I need You forever
And always I’ll praise You
My God
I’m so amazed that You would come to my rescue
My sin the nails that have pierced Your hands
But You loved me and then in Your mercy
You took my place and paid the law’s demands
You carried me to Your side
And all for love You died
Oh, my Jesus, my Savior
Lord, I love You forever
And always I’ll praise You
Oh, my Jesus, my Anchor
Lord, I need You forever
And always I’ll praise You
My God
My soul will sing of Your mercy
My life will sing of Your grace
My heart will sing of Your love
And I will sing Your precious name
Oh, my Jesus, my Savior
Lord, I love You forever
And always I’ll praise You
Oh, my Jesus, my Anchor
Lord, I need You forever
And always I’ll praise You
My God

Luke 15:4-7 - "What man among you, if he
has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them,
does not leave the ninety-nine in the open
pasture and go after the one which is lost
until he finds it? "When he has found it,
he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
"And when he comes home, he calls together
his friends and his neighbors, saying to them,
'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep
which was lost!' "I tell you that in the same way,
there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner
who repents than over ninety-nine righteous
persons who need no repentance.”
