The old saying is, "if you love something or someone then set it free, and that if it was meant to be, it will come back to you". How does one set something so cherished free never knowing if it will come back around. Oh the pain that ones heart experiences, a pain that replaces what once was an adrenaline rush of excitement with the thought of seeing or hearing that person. I have learned that God places people in our paths for a reason, it may be for a season or maybe a lifetime. But with each there is something that must be deposited and something that must be withdrawn.
One learns that life is full of turns in the paths that God has placed before us, we must discern which one to walk, and pray for God's strength as we walk it. Yes, there will be obstacles in which we must go around, we may even get sidetracked but it always has purpose and God always knows our way out.
The broken heart only He can heal, the emptiness only He can fill. The tears that leak only He can behold and seal, the loving embrace only He can give.
