Beauty was an exceptional child so full of life and vigor she had a thing about her, she was so cute and beautiful, every one loved her and wanted to be with her or do at least something for her wherever she went.

She was so very beautiful and she knew it.
Also, she practically had the intellect of a ‘rocket scientist’, so smart and quick in thinking her grades never faltered, always way above her classmates.

She had this habit, she would gaze at her reflection all day; in a mirror, clear glass or just any pool of water that she saw on her way as she skipped through the woods, most of the time during each passing day, she day-dreamed about becoming great and famous with everyone swooning at her feet, adoring her all day long.
All her thoughts were centered on the fact that she had a gift which made her very special way above every other person

Her father did not make things any easier he spoilt her rotten; whenever he came back from work or any outing, he had a little something for her; a tiny piece of jewelry, a pretty hair bow or just any nice adornment, something always, for his precious little jewel of beauty.
He would always say, ‘A jewel for my jewel’!
‘Pride goes before a fall’. Her mother would always warn, but he always said, she was being unnecessarily too hard on the child, ‘after all she is a child, let her be’!
She on the other hand turned deaf ears to the words of her mother

Yes Beauty was indeed a beauty to behold but she was not a very nice person at all.
She was so selfish and full of herself,
One day, Beauty encountered what would change her life forever.

She went to the village square with her mum, at the village centre, they met a group of people gathered around and the most beautiful music that she had ever heard in her entire life was wafting from within the circle.

The two were drawn to this scene; as mother and daughter made their way to a part of the gathering where they could see the centre properly and the source of the amazement, they were astounded!
The gifted amazement was a little girl about beauty’s age with no arms, all she had were stumps where her arms were supposed to be, with a bright toothed smile, she was singing and using her toes to play a little wooden guitar and making wondrous melody combined with her angelic voice, no one wanted to leave the scene, it was glorious.
After a while she needed to rest a while, she received a standing ovation and lots of gratitude in cash form from the onlookers.

After studying this plain looking but extremely happy girl for a while whilst the crowd formed smaller groups discussing the wonder of what had just taken place, Beauty made her way to the girl who was taking a sip from a bottle she had close by and also stroking a cute looking puppy that was jumping all over her and happily wagging its tail.
Beauty introduced herself and asked the little girl her’s, ‘Peace’ she said smilingly her face lightening up with her beautiful smile.
Beauty was so blunt with a question that was eating away inside her that it embarrassed her mother when she asked it
“How can you be so happy considering the way you look”?
She asked. This without apologies, looking her straight in the eye, before she got an answer, she added that, ‘if I were you I would hide away forever in a dark room without anyone having to look upon such ugly imperfection always’
Peace laughed as she answered, 'What is within is the actual beauty, what is the essence of beauty when it brings pain and distress to the owner and to others around them.
I can not stop playing my music nor can I stop expressing my joy in song because of embarrassment and shame, rather I do this to spread the joy I feel to all around me to bring hope in the hopeless heart
‘My mother used to say something to me and told me never to forget,…she is with God now, by the way, I lost my whole family in the war that tore my country apart,i alone survived the terrible explosions but without my arms.
She used to say, ‘These are the secrets to staying vibrant and being happy, “You have to laugh and find humor in the littlest things. You must dream and believe that you can achieve anything apportioned to you by God no matter the hindrances put on your way, because when you have no dreams, you die.
There are so many people walking around today who are dead but are seen to be living!

She jumped up laughingly with renewed vigor, took up her guitar so efficiently with her teeth and said she had to go back to play because she needed to fend for her daily living, politely she lifted her right foot for a 'handshake'and she said, nice meeting you Beauty and I wish you the peace of the Lord!

Beauty stood there in shocked amazement but after that experience she never remained the same, this touched her like nothing had ever done before in her entire cocooned life, it completely changed her mindset and mentality because after that her parents saw her blossom into such a warm hearted and courteous young lady

The experience never left her.

In life there are always undesirable things that happen to individuals but how we handle them make the whole world of difference.

Perhaps by our humble acceptance of God's will,we shall and can change the point of view of others with our actions and even inactions.

I hope that this message brings you fresh hope and renewed thinking and that each person can appreciate and be thankful for what they have every beautiful day which is possible to share with someone else.
