Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great high priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Christ died so that I would have access to the Father. The curtain tore so that I could walk through, unashamed. Therefore, by simply dipping my hands in His blood, I am made clean. Condemnation, shame, and guilt are hereby banished. They are stripped away by His grace and mercy. All thatís left is blind faith that on that glorious day I will be welcomed in His kingdom forever. Banished are the lies. Taunts, teases, insults, and confusion are forever expelled. After everything else has been stripped away, all thatís really left is Truth. Truth will be the vessel that leads me toward my goal and it is Truth that will lead me home.
