When my son was a teenager, there were rare times when I arrived home late for work. He always complained if I had forgotten to cook, or if the house was cluttered or something. He said, the house wasn’t the same unless I was home. And when he left home and started a family of his own, I felt the same way. I thought to myself, what if God felt the same about us?
Our spiritual houses are sometimes empty of daily praise and worship because of a busy day. Or because of family and job priorities sometimes we forget about the spiritual enrichments that really make a house a home. Our focus tend to lean toward the physical things, which are important. But God should be more than a thought. He is a centerpiece. He is our focus throught the day. Sometimes the cares of this life overwhelms us.
There are times, when we are so pressed for time, we don’t ask God for the spiritual armor he supplies. And we allow the little things to distract and cause us to act in an ungodly fashion.
These are minor distractions, which can turn into major distractions. It only takes a few minor incidents to take us off rack, and before we know it becomes a way of life. And you will often wonder: how did this happen?
Before you enter the presence of other, Go and see God.
Put on the whole Armor of God so that you will be able to stand against the enemy. We don’t know what the day may hold, but God is a light which will never go out.

my big Bible, for the first
time. That's when the
Lord began to fill up...
my house.
