Psalm 1242
Hidden away in confinement, Father,
is where I am and have been,
hoping that this is Your purpose
and my preparation in some strange way
that I can't even begin to understand.
Trying to just brings me to tears.
Now I ask, O Lord,
break off the restraints of the enemy which have held me back.
Remove them not just from me but from all who are held back.
A proper stewart is what I wish to be.
And I can't do this without You.
We both know where I've been without You.
And I know You hear what my heart cries out for the most
is full restoration.
Where I'm at now, Lord, is this where You want me?
Am I who You want me to be?
I hear the words of some saying, be careful what You ask for
because you just might get it.
I don't see them as proper and real teachers who believe in You.
For they use fear tactics to prevent us from approaching You.
Its worked in the past for me but it won't any longer.
They know what I ask You, Father,
whether it's written or in prayer - they know.
Is it Your will that they interfere and try to bring my requests to pass
in harmful ways?
My vision of a true teacher in Christ is one who encourages others to ask You for everything,
letting others know that
We can be confident that He will listen to us whenever we ask for anything in line with His will.
1 John 5:14
And it is with this confidence, Father, that I ask You these questions,
and bring forth these requests.
Am I where You want me Father?
Put me right where You want me,
and let no practice of Satanism touch us.
Bring us into our rightful inheritance, Father.
There are many who view Your word as hateful and they work to remove it and us.
Is that Your will? I don't think so,
but instead of me speaking and answering that question
show and reveal it to us all, Father.
If they move to remove our voice and the Word of God,
remove theirs instead.
All that I ask - I ask in Jesus' name, Father,
Amen.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.
