Weeds fill in trails
Along rivers of bliss.
Where we once shared
A hug and a kiss.
On these lonely evenings,
I reminisce.
You see TV don't give me
A hug and a kiss.
Home alone in the morning
It's you I miss,
The wonderful touch
Of each new day's kiss.
You're up there in Heaven
As I crawl through this,
In time I'll fly high
For a hug and a kiss!
