God’s Most Precious Promise
Every now and then, I think about life-
The life we have now and what comes later.
Even at best, this life has its limits.
Rather than looking at this one, let’s observe
Now what God’s continued presence will be,
Always nearby, protecting His children
Loving us, as we are, making us whole.
Lifting us up with His great arms of love,
If we should falter, he will guide us through
Forgiving us, while justifying us.
Ever-present, ever powerful, ever knowing.
