I look outside and know it's cold,
the very air looks chill;
but here where I live, it's always warm,
wrapped in your love, I can be still...
Turmoil and upset may be all around,
just listen how strident and shrill;
but here in my heart is peace and joy;
for together we follow God's will...
There was a time when it all got to me,
when my life was full of stress;
I had no idea of where to go,
and what to do, I could only guess...
Then Jesus heard my whispered cry,
and was instantly by my side;
telling me that with Him, all is well,
He'd be my refuge, in Him I could hide...
That was, however, just the beginning,
for more blessings He had in store;
the best one of all was bringing us together,
how could I ask for anything more?
Now my joy all comes from my Savior,
and He's the One who gave me love anew;
and poured out more than I had ever dreamed,
what a wonder, oh, how I LOVE YOU!!!
Now my happiness is new every day,
I dwell on what's lovely and true;
and all day long I try to find a thousand ways,
to show you again how much I LOVE YOU!!!
