Psalm 1239
It is the Word, Father,
Your Word that gives everlasting life
Is filled with living power. (Hebrews 4:12)
My heart, O Lord, has never been happier
By complete surrender
I open up
And Your Word it speaks to me
It guides me and I can see how it works
Not just in my life but in lives all around me.
And because of this
Deep satisfaction settles in with gratitude.
For what little Iíve learned Iím able to share
With those who suffer the same
Iím able to give to them
The same comfort which has been given to me.
And I donít know if they believe in You or not,
But that wonít and doesnít stop me,
Because through this sharing they might turn to You.
I pray, Father,
That all who suffer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Be comforted through Christ,
Just as it is written:
You can be sure that the more you suffer for Christ,
The more God will shower us with His comfort through Christ. (2 Corinthians 1:5)
May Your comfort overflow
To all who suffer around the world for Your name.
As our faith is tested through our suffering
May You build our character and teach us to endure
that we may be ready for anything and everything with strong character. (James 1:3-4)
May we have the courage to speak out and not hold back.
You, O Lord, are our only source of every mercy,
It is you our God who comforts us in every trouble
That we may comfort others when others are troubled
May the comfort given to us be passed along to others in need (2 Corinthains 1:3-4)
I ask this in Jesusí name,
Amen.
Holy, Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.

We can be confident that He will listen to us whenever we ask Him for anything that is line with His will. (1 John 5:14)
