Imagine for a moment that you have landed in hell and later also imagine if you would have landed in heaven.
Try to feel the difference and you will surely be concerned.
We are concerned about things which have a limited duration, how much should we be concerned about our eternity.
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life."
John 6:47-48 (New King James Version)
That's the answer for everlasting life (heaven), believing in the Lord Jesus Christ will save us from facing everlasting death (hell).
For many this may be a false belief, yet the fact is that 'We will face eternity', however where shall we spend it, our belief and our relationship with the Lord will decide this.
How blessed the fact that we all are alive today and right now can decide about our eternity, for we never know when we will step into it.
I am not encouraging you to believe in God for fear of hell, for we should believe in Him for His goodness and love and not fearing His wrath, however this is an established fact that 'Hell is a place of suffering'
Decide for God, its a matter of eternity.
