No I in Atonement
By grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God... (Ephesians 2: 8, 9)
A friend of mine was asking if I wanted to read a book I have on the atonement—only she said anointment. When I corrected her, she said "same letters" I immediately thought there's no I in atonement. Then God impressed upon my heart afresh the truth that I could not atone for my sin that work was done by the Lord Jesus Christ who said, "it is finished" (John 19:30). So if you are trying to earn salvation today remember there's no I in atonement, so trust the Lord Jesus Christ today.

I really love your "short shot" here - perfect and if we are supposed to die to self what is it with the spot light on self this and self that even in the Body - it gets scary. GOOD thoughts, Monica!
