God, You created man as the head;
For, by You, He was to be lead,
But, because of weakness and distraction he has strayed
From the path You have laid.
Father, there are so many things that have drawn them from You
And have caused them to be unfaithful and untrue
To Your will and to Your way;
There are many factors causing them to disobey
Turning from Your voice, You very call.
For, if they don't repent, they will surely fall
Into the trap Satan has set,
And in the end, they will truly regret
Their disobedience and treacherous ways;
For, they will be found unworthy in the last days.
Lord, we do not want our men to fail,
Or to lift up their eyes in hell.
We want them saved from the temptations
Of lying, cheating, adultery, homosexuality, and fornication.
Lord, give them the strength they need
To be the head, the very lead
Of Your creations: all that You have made
And obedient faithful followers of the path You've laid.
Help them fight against the evil forces and principalities;
Help them face the realities
That at the end of this life
Full of turmoil, misery and strife
There will be a great judgement day
And this world of material things will surely pass away.
Lord, save our men from alcoholism and drug addictions
As well as mental, physical and spiritual afflictions.
Save our men from the temptress and the whoremonger.
Let them not be Satan's slaves any longer.
Lord, I know You have the power
To save our heads this day, this very hour.
Lord, we're asking that you please save our men
From this wicked world of sin.
For, Lord if the heads are saved from eternal death,
The body will be lead to eternal rest.
