When we're praying and praising
The Spirit comes down,
That the work of His gifts in the church may abound.
He fitly joins us together
That we all may be one.
To the praise of the Father, through Jesus the Son.
When there's intrusion and confusion
God is still on the throne.
And He's ordaining and sustaining His peace
Through the Son.
The Spirit's moaning and groaning,
He's knows the battle's been won.
I keep on praying and praising,
In a heavenly tongue.
