When Paradise seemed so far away
There had to be a better way
You’re born, you live and then you die
Well what’s the point?
Nobody could answer me why.
So my wandering feet had to roam
Far away from my humble home
Searching for Paradise
But the more that I saw the more I realised:
Even Paradise can be lonely
And I’m longing to be with you only
When I’m with you or not
That is how I can tell
That I’m going to Heaven
Or going through Hell
If all the World’s riches were held in my hands
They would fall through my fingers like fine grains of sand
Because diamonds and rubies could never replace
The feeling I had when I was in your embrace
With your love, I could move a mountain
With your love, I could walk across the sea
You created the Earth and the Heavens above
All for me out of love
And you gave to me all your love
And you died for me out of love
And you set me free with your love
You’re my bread and my wine
My Christmas and my Valentine
My comfort and joy
You’re the fortress that no man can destroy!
I’m shining in your glory

Paradise could only be with you
