For giving me another day,
For hearing me each time I pray,
For more than I could ever say,
I thank you Lord.
For each mistake that you forgave,
For every time the way you paved,
For dying so we could be saved,
I thank you Lord.
For joy and peace that fills my soul,
For too many blessings to be told,
For giving us heaven as a goal,
I thank you Lord.
Someday I’ll reach the end of this race,
And I’ll stay prepared just in case,
