The Spirit of Jezebel in the Workplace

I would like to share with you how God can change more than one person by the power of prayer. When my new boss came, I was convinced there wasn't a ounce of compassion within her. She controlled people through fear and intimidation. She would boldly claim, there was not any authority but her own. She challenged everyone out loud to report her and claim they would lose their jobs if they did. And some challenged and failed. There was so many people afraid, that the tension could be felt with a knife.

I witnessed her making false claims, against those around her, even other supervisors which ranked higher than her. I saw false documents against the employees with the writings so eloquent, they needed a translator. It was an attempt to keep us in bondage. Many employees came to me and asked, what shall we do? We all need our jobs. I said, we have to pray. If false claims are made, then you arguing against the powers of darkness will not make things better. Even some supervisors were fearful. If she causes the supervisors to fear so much they have private meetings claiming they have to back her because they are afraid of retaliation, our only chance is God and his power. We have to just prayer and ask God to change her heart.

From the moment we made this proclamation, things got worst. She threatened and wrote more disciplinarian actions against innocent people, and then she threatened to make a public example out of the ones who were innocent. She even accused me behind my back trying to get a rise out of me, but I didn't give cause to her offense. Instead I smile and I prayed for her.

She tried to hold our paychecks, and threaten us. I said enough is enough. I tried to get some employees to stand with me, but many were afraid because of the families they had to support, and I couldn't blame them. I knew something had to change. She called a meeting, and made a claim, she was firing a lot of people.

Before the meetings I went to the altar of God, and prayed for her. And I prayed for the people in which I worked with. My prayer was that every demonic force be broken, and that he would change her for the better.

I had my mom to pray, because she is a strong prayer warrior. When the meeting occurred, God proved that he was in charge, because the person became a humble human being and she confessed her sins in front of us and asked for forgiveness. Many were amazed at the transformation, they was standing in awe, but I knew it was because of God. Prayer changes things and situations, if anyone desires to be used by God, I would recommend they take advantage of their prayer life and spend some time in prayer!
