Where is the United States in Bible Prophecy?
Where is America in Bible Prophecy? The answer to this is a simple one. America's fate will be bondage if we as Christian don't wake up and go back to intercessory prayer on her behalf.
From the humble beginnings of America, the Bible was her guide book. All of the teachings and laws were based upon the Word of God. Because of her faithfulness, God used her to win many wars, and in the process made her name great. Many feared her because the founding leaders believed in the power of God. Many people from all ethic groups came to America because she was the land of the free, and the people stood behind one another. People knew they could make a living in America, and she was not stricken by the tragedy of war and poverty as other countries were.
Since then, America begin to lift herself up, and started mistreating her neighbors and those who honored her. Little by little they begin to violate God's Law, and thinking of the law as a measure to sin. She began to lift herself up as god, thereby deceiving herself. They began to place unsaved people in leadership who only agenda was to destroy and distort the Word of God. They quit taking care of one another, and the land soon became run with violence and poverty.
This type of leadership found its way into the church. The church became nothing more than a social gathering, where many went out of conscious, than love for the ministry. Souls were not important any more. There was a time the Word of God was thriving and produced in every way, many Christians sought others things to do on Sunday than to honor God. Bible studies and intercessory prayer groups have become almost empty. America forgot about those people who suffered tragically just to hear a Word from God. They forgot to teach their children about God, and his goodness. Sickness and disease became a way of life, they soon forgot about the healing power of God, in favor of prosperity, and slothfulness.
Instead of honoring God and families, and being blessed. Fornication, and sexual immorality in every form became a way of life. Bringing our children up to inherited curses, they were not meant to bear became common. They forgot how to let their lives shine before men. Many of our churches have become desolate because of America's sins. They blame it on the neighborhood, but no one is witnessing, we have spent more commercials than on missions. Jesus never advertised on television, the needs are greater than ever, but the laborers are in hiding. We tend to glorify the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus more than God.
Instead of praying about the laws, we run to our gated communities and our fancy homes and watch television. We have forgotten how to pray. Just as God has placed his beloved Israel in bondage for disobeying his law,we will not escape. The church will be judged the strictest because we stood by and did nothing to stop her.
America will share the same fate as Israel had so many times before. Nations mightier than her will overtake her as a thief. Her children will be servants of a heathen nation. Her ministers will teach what is put in front of them, or they will die because of America's many sins. Many will return to hiding just hear what God has to say. If America doesn't change her ways, she will become a common slave.
Change starts with prayer!
