Hello all, I haven’t been here for a while; it’s good to be back. I’m sorry I’ve been gone for so long. Truth be told I spent the better part of the year trying to do things in my own strength and in my own will. I spent most of the year trying to fix my financial issues on my own, my family issues, and issues on my job if truth be told I sought the Lord, but only to tell Him what I was going to be doing and asked him to bless it.
That wasn’t going to work. It wasn’t going to work for two reasons, one reason is if it’s not God’s will for my life it won’t work, and second, I can ONLY do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.
In all truth my bible wasn’t open as much as it needed to be, I even began to pick and choose which Sunday I would and would not be attending church. In all truth I became solely dependent on me, and I actually expected God to bless that.
I forgot about the power of Holy Ghost working within me. I forgot that I will receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon me (Acts1:7). I forgot that I need to trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding, in all my ways acknowledge him and he will direct my path (Proverbs 3:5). I forgot that light is my affliction and it is but for a moment which worketh for us a far more exceeding weight of glory, while we look not the things which are seen, for the things which are seen are temporal and the things which are unseen are eternal (II Corinthians 4:17).
I forgot that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
My beautiful brothers and sisters we have to stay in our word everyday. We can not under any circumstances (not one) get bogged down in the cares of this world; we are the righteousness of God, through Christ Jesus! Did you hear me? YOU are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus! We are in the world but not of the world, we have been brought with a price, we are not our own, and most important no matter what you’ve done, said or thought about God forgives you, if you ask for forgiveness and repent (TURN AWAY FROM IT) forgiveness is yours and you get a brand new start..
Listen, there are countless things we can complain about, but after we confess those complaints with our mouth, we are having whatsoever we say, so before you even consider complaining, let’s SEND THE LORD A PRAISE.
Before you think of your circumstance, and of all the things you don’t have SEND THE LORD A PRAISE for all the things you do have.
Before you get bogged down in the cares of the world, SEND THE LORD A PRAISE and don’t look at the problem look past the problem and see the solution, realize it, own it, rejoice and accept it in Jesus Name. To God be the Glory for the things He has done! HALLELUJAH!
