On winds blowing down
Across ageless Time
and endless Space -
Across heavenly Universe
and lowly Earth,
Rich echoes of aged prophecies
predict God’s Grace
To humble humanity
through a virgin birth.
Proclaiming God’s love,
their message is clear
For all who will listen,
for all who will hear:
Messiah is coming!
Messiah is coming!
He brings an end to unrest.
He brings peace without fear.
The Hope of the world,
Salvation will give.
It is He of whom
the saints and angels sing!
Are we listening?
Do we hear?
On centuries tumbling down
Across ageless Time
and endless Space –
Across Heavenly Universe
and lowly Earth,
Rush angels with whispers
of Mercy and echoes of Grace.
They announce God’s Love-Gift
to all peoples on Earth.
They publish abroad,
and their message is clear
For all who will listen,
for all who will hear:
Unto you a child is born!
Unto you a son is given!
Lying in a bed of straw –
Love from Eternity’s Sphere.
Wonderful! Counselor!
Prince of Peace!
He is Emmanuel,
the Love of God
coming near!

Today –

Good Tidings of great Joy!
Glory to God in the highest!
Peace and good will to all men!
The Son of God is here!
Let us go now
to Bethlehem’s stall –
Where the gift of God’s Love
is given to all!
Where Salvation is free
and there is peace
without fear!
